It’s
that time again! SCHOOLS OF ROCK!!
Every school year, Saline Area Schools puts on a Schools of Rock Show. This is a show where all the schools in the Saline district perform 'mock rock' type skits. For students to see their
teachers, administrators, and school staff dance on stage is a lot of fun!
Every year, the creativity and talent from all of the schools amazes me. It really
is a great concept! The money raised goes to the Foundation for Saline Area Schools.
The
theme my school chose this year was a birthday party. Pleasant Ridge Elementary is 25 years old
this year. We had a birthday party on stage! It was a great time with
many teachers and staff participating. We even invited former staff to join in
on the fun! This event is a great way to build a positive school climate and see
co-workers in a different light. I really enjoy it every year (beside the
moment right before going on stage, when I am so nervous I could puke!).

Enjoy!
